Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #4

Here we are already in our 4th week of the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and this week it is a sketch set by Donna.

It's my son's birthday so I thought I would make his birthday card based on this fab sketch. My son is a keen clay pigeon shooter so the 'Country Gents' collection from Cuddly Buddly fit the bill perfectly. No colouring or stamping on my card this week. I decoupaged the image and added a little black ribbon to the tag. Although I hate making mens cards I was quite pleased with how this one turned out.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #3

I can't believe we're on the third week already and this weeks Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge is a theme which has been set by Kim which is - Blue and white and a little bit of Snowflake. Some fab cards again this week by the DT and this is my contribution.

Backing Paper - Pink Petticoat
Stamped image - 'Bubble Tree' by Woodware - coloured with Liquid Pearls in Baby Blue with a few gems.
Snowflakes & Sentiment - from the 'Christmas Cheer' Cricut cartridge with Silver stickles and flat backed gems added for effect.
Ribbon - from stash

I cut the snowflakes on plain white 160 gsm card on the cricut and applied a thick coating of 'Fluffy Stuff' and sprinkled white angel dust over it before heating.

The photo doesn't really show it but there but there is lots of shimmer and sparkle on this card. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #2

We had a fantastic response to last weeks first challenge - thank you all for taking part and for the lovely comments. My card is my take on the week #2 challenge sketch which was set by Sue.

Supplies used:-

Backing papers - DCWV - Pocket full of Posies stack. I used a small flower stamp and a glue pad and stamped and glittered flowers over the backing paper.
Ric Rac was from my stash
Stamped image - 'Mouse Hug' from Rachelle Anne Miller coloured with Promarkers
Sentiment - 'Thinking of You' messages from Hero Arts
The flowers were punched and I used Gold flat back pearls in the centre of the flowers.
